The design for a residential building on a beautiful plot of farmland outside of Bangalore. A fusion of traditional Indian building elements and modern construction techniques and conceptions of space. Coping with the requirements of a large South-Indian family with ever-changing needs and a large public life as well as the local climate with hot, dry summer weather and lot’s of rain during monsoon.
This post and the future ones will show the rendered views, plans and with the progress of the project also the photographs from the site.

The Master Plan of the developed farm land: A large shelter belt of indigenous trees protects the privacy of the residents. The main building inhabits the central space, leaving space for a larger representative landscape to the East and a private garden to the West.
